Flat Acres Farm Haunted House and Hay Field Fire
At 01:22 a.m. on Monday, October, 25th Local members responded to a fire Flat Acre Farms, located at 11321 Dransfeldt Road in Douglas County. Upon arrival, members found a haunted house and large area of hay bales engulfed in flames. Members and tractor operators have contained and mostly extinguished the fire, but the hay will continue to smolder this morning. Read More...
Kittredge Circle Garage Fire
October 4, 2021, 2:00 a.m.- Multiple calls were received by South Metro Fire Rescue's Dispatch Center that black smoke was visible coming from a home's garage near S.Jordan Road and S. Broncos Pkwy. Homeowners had working smoke detectors and did the right thing by evacuating the home and keeping doors closed as they exited. This helped to contain the fire and smoke in the garage. Read More...
Las Ramblas Multi Family Structure Fire
October 3, 2021 - At 6:28 p.m., Local members responded to reports of black smoke coming from an apartment near Market Street and Jordan in Parker. A neighbor spotted the smoke and heard a smoke alarm sounding from the home. Members from Tower 45 arrived on the scene and confirmed the incident was a working multi-family structure fire and pulled line for an offensive fire attack. Read More...

Just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, SMFR received numerous reports of flames and smoke visible from a tanker truck on southbound I-25 north of Castle Pines Parkway. When local members arrived, they found the rear brake assembly on the tractor engulfed in flames. Read More...

At 9:32 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 911 callers reported a sparking electrical transformer starting brush fire on the southwest corner of Castle Pines Parkway and I-25 in the City of Castle Pines. When local members arrived, they found roughly half an acre of mixed vegetation involved, spreading to the north and south. Read More...
